The Savage Axis 2 in .223 Remington gives left-handed shooters a true southpaw action with the feature that elevates the Axis 2 line: Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which delivers a crisp, safe, light pull you can tune yourself. The 20-inch threaded barrel wears a green synthetic stock and stands ready for a suppressor — a superb quiet setup for calling coyotes or thinning varmints. With .223's low cost and mild recoil, this is also an ideal rifle for teaching precision fundamentals. Left-hand threaded-barrel bolt guns at this price are few and far between.
