SureFire's three-prong flash hider does two jobs, and does both well. On its own it is one of the most effective flash suppressors made, with a tuned tine geometry that breaks up the muzzle signature far better than a standard A2 birdcage. It also serves as the mounting interface for SureFire's quick-detach SOCOM suppressors, indexing them concentrically to the bore and locking them in place with a repeatable return to zero. This version is bored for 5.56mm and threaded 5/8x24. Machined from heat-treated stainless steel to survive the heat and torque of sustained suppressed fire.
