SureFire's three-prong Eliminator flash hider is a familiar sight on serious 7.62 rifles, threaded here 5/8x24. The open-tine design is extremely effective at breaking up muzzle flash, and unlike a closed-end hider it avoids trapping gas in a way that can produce tuning-fork ring. The other half of the story is that SureFire muzzle devices double as the mounting interface for SureFire's SOCOM suppressor line, so this piece can serve as both a standalone flash hider today and a fast-attach mount later. Machined from heat-treated stainless and finished to survive sustained fire.
