This Ammo Boost conversion kit replaces the hinged floorplate and internal box magazine on a Howa 1500 long action with proper bottom metal and a detachable five-round magazine in .300 Winchester Magnum. The upgrade changes how the rifle handles in the field: unloading no longer means cycling live magnum rounds through the chamber, swapping between a practice load and a hunting load takes a second, and topping off between stands is trivial. The kit includes both the floorplate assembly and the magazine, so it is a complete conversion rather than a partial one. A practical improvement to an already excellent action.
