This Ammo Boost detachable box magazine feeds five rounds of .308 Winchester in Howa 1500 rifles fitted with compatible bottom metal. Converting from a hinged floorplate to a detachable magazine is one of the more useful upgrades you can make to a hunting bolt gun: unloading no longer requires cycling live rounds through the chamber, swapping between loads is instant, and a spare loaded magazine in a pocket is faster than thumbing rounds into an internal box. Steel body with a polymer follower, sized to sit flush and preserve the rifle's carry profile.
