EOTech is best known for holographic sights, but the Vudu line is the company's serious magnified optic program, and the Vudu X series brought that glass to a more accessible tier. This is the 2-12x40 in a second focal plane configuration with the DP1 reticle.

The 2-12x range is genuinely versatile — wide enough at the bottom end for close, fast shooting, and enough magnification at the top for precision work out to meaningful distance. A second focal plane reticle stays the same visual size throughout the zoom range, which most hunters prefer because the reticle never becomes too fine to see at low power or too coarse at high power.
