EOTech built the Vudu line to bring the company's optical engineering to magnified scopes, and the 3.5-18x50 sits in the most useful part of the range for a precision rifle. A first focal plane MD2 reticle is the key detail: the subtensions scale with magnification, so holdovers and wind holds remain valid at any power setting rather than only at maximum zoom. The 50mm objective gathers light for low-light shooting without forcing an unreasonably tall mount, and the exposed turrets track for shooters who prefer to dial. Suited equally to long-range competition and open-country hunting.
