The EOTech EXPS2 is a holographic sight rather than a reflex red dot, and the difference shows up in practice: the reticle is projected as a hologram, so it stays usable even if the window is partially obstructed, and the wide viewing aperture makes it exceptionally fast with both eyes open.

This is the two-dot reticle variant, running on a single CR123 battery with side-mounted buttons and a single quick-detach lever. The raised mount clears backup irons and co-witnesses on most AR-pattern rifles. A proven duty and defensive optic, and a natural host for a magnifier behind it.
