Crimson Trace's Laserguard replaces the trigger guard area of the pistol with a housing that puts a green laser directly under the bore, activated instinctively by your normal firing grip rather than by a separate switch. That instinctive activation is the whole design philosophy: nothing extra to remember under stress.

Green lasers are dramatically more visible to the human eye than red, especially in daylight. This model fits the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield in .45, adding an aiming solution without meaningfully changing the pistol's carry profile.
