Crimson Trace Lasergrips are the original instinctive-activation laser: the unit lives in the grip panels themselves, and a pressure pad in the front strap turns it on the moment you take a firing grip — no button to find, nothing to remember under stress. That's a meaningful advantage on a small pocket pistol like the Kimber Micro 9, where the abbreviated sight radius and tiny sights are the weak point of an otherwise excellent carry gun. Because the laser replaces the grips rather than hanging off a rail, the pistol's holster fit and pocketability are unchanged. Also a useful dry-fire diagnostic for trigger control.
