The Beretta 92 has served American military and police for over four decades, and the 92X Performance is what happens when Beretta's Italian competition shop takes the platform seriously. It uses a heavier steel Vertec-style frame, an oversized magazine well, an extended beavertail, and a Brigadier slide, all of which combine to make the pistol shoot exceptionally flat.

This Carry Optic variant is chambered in 9mm with a 4.9-inch barrel and an optics-ready slide cut, built to Production Optics and Carry Optics division rules. The weight up front and the open-top Beretta slide make it one of the softest-shooting duty-size 9mm pistols available.
