The Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact is a purpose-built rifle for smaller-framed shooters — youth hunters, and anyone who shoots better with a shorter length of pull. Chambered in the mild-recoiling, deadly effective 7mm-08 Remington with a 20-inch blued barrel, it comes with stock spacers so the rifle can grow with a young hunter. The Vanguard action is famed for its smoothness and Weatherby backs the line with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee with qualifying ammunition. A first deer rifle that will not be outgrown in capability, only in stock length.
