The ZPAP M92 is the American-market version of the Yugoslavian Krinkov-pattern short AK, built by Zastava on their own tooling and imported for U.S. buyers. Chambered in 7.62x39 with a 10-inch barrel and a bulged, thicker-walled trunnion, it is famously overbuilt where it matters most. This configuration ships with a stabilizing brace and a rail for optics mounting. The short barrel produces a substantial muzzle blast and flash, but delivers unmistakable authority in a package that stows easily. For AK enthusiasts, the M92 has long been the benchmark for a compact, hard-use Kalashnikov.
