Winchester's XPR is a modern push-feed hunting rifle built around a nickel-Teflon coated bolt, a free-floating button-rifled barrel, and the excellent M.O.A. adjustable trigger. The Extreme Tungsten configuration adds a QPQ-treated barrel, a corrosion-resistant nitride process that is about as tough a surface finish as exists on a firearm, in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22-inch barrel. Between the QPQ barrel and the tungsten Cerakote, this is a rifle built for hunters who leave guns in scabbards and truck racks through wet seasons and expect them to still look and function right.
