It runs on Ruger 10/22 pattern magazines, so aftermarket support is effectively unlimited. This version wears a thumbhole stock over an 18-inch barrel in .22 LR. Between the low weight, ghost ring sights, integral optics rail and the near-total absence of recoil, it is about as approachable a rifle as exists for small game, plinking and teaching new shooters.
