A factory Winchester XPR magazine in the long standard configuration. The XPR uses a detachable box magazine with a positive latch, which is one of the reasons the rifle handles so cleanly in the field compared to a blind-magazine design: unloading at the end of a hunt is fast, safe, and does not require cycling live rounds through the chamber. Keeping a spare magazine in a pack or truck box is cheap insurance, since a dropped or damaged magazine is one of the few things that can genuinely end a hunt.
