The Weatherby Picatinny Rail for the Vanguard is a scope base that provides a Picatinny-style mounting surface for the Vanguard long action. A Picatinny rail gives you wide flexibility in choosing rings and optics, and it offers more mounting positions than a standard base. It is a good upgrade for people who want to mount a heavier or longer optic, or to add a night vision or other accessory. Make sure to verify it fits your particular Vanguard action length before ordering.
