The Taylor's & Company Devil Anse in .45 Colt wears a 4.75-inch barrel with a blued finish and black grips, and carries the Taylor Tuned treatment for an improved action and trigger. The .45 Colt is the original American revolver cartridge, in service since 1873, and it still delivers a heavy, large-diameter bullet at modest pressure with authority out of proportion to its velocity.

A 4.75-inch single action in .45 Colt is about as historically correct as a working sixgun gets. Taylor's reproductions are well regarded for correct proportions and quality Italian manufacture.
