The Sonicore Rekkr OB is a .30-caliber sound suppressor with a 5/8x24 thread, built in an over-the-barrel configuration. Over-the-barrel designs are the smart answer to the length problem: by extending back over the host's barrel rather than entirely forward of the muzzle, they deliver the internal volume needed for real sound reduction while adding far less to the rifle's overall length and forward balance.
