Streamlight's TLR series is among the most widely issued weapon light lines in American law enforcement, and the TLR-3X brings 500 lumens in a very compact package. The X designation means it mounts to a standard 1913 Picatinny rail rather than only to a pistol's accessory rail, which makes it useful on subcompact and long guns alike. The rail-clamping system tightens with a single screw and returns to the same position, and the ambidextrous momentary and constant-on switch falls naturally under a support-hand thumb. Impact-resistant polymer housing with a black finish, and it runs on a single CR123A.
