This is the factory optic mounting plate for the Rost Martin RM1C, cut for the Shield RMS and SMS footprint. Direct-mount plates like this one matter more than most shooters expect: a plate machined by the manufacturer for its own slide cut sits flush, indexes on the correct recoil lugs, and keeps the optic as low over the bore as the design allows, which preserves your ability to co-witness irons and keeps the red dot from walking under recoil. Anything less than a proper fit shows up as lost zero.
