A Proof Research carbon fiber pre-fit barrel for the Tikka T3x, chambered in .25 Creedmoor at 22 inches. The .25 Creedmoor is one of the more interesting recent cartridge introductions, bringing the quarter-bore back into relevance with modern high-BC bullets and excellent wind performance for deer, antelope and predators.

Proof's carbon fiber wrap keeps the barrel light and resists the heat-induced point-of-impact shift that thin steel profiles develop. With headspace set at the factory for the T3x action, installation is far simpler than a traditional rebarrel job. A strong upgrade path for an already excellent factory rifle.
