ProMag's 65-round drum feeds .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO through AK-pattern rifles chambered for the round, giving range shooters a huge ammunition supply without constant reloading. The one-piece polymer body keeps weight manageable compared with steel drums, and the wind-up spring design is straightforward to load and unload. Drums like this are best thought of as range and fun-shooting accessories rather than duty gear, and as with any high-capacity feed device it pays to keep the body clean and the spring tension correct for smooth operation. Check your state and local magazine capacity laws before ordering.
