The Magpul MOE SL handguard is the practical upgrade for an AR-15 carbine that still wears plastic clamshell furniture. It installs on the standard carbine-length delta ring and front cap with no gunsmithing and no proprietary barrel nut, replacing bulky factory handguards with a slimmer, flatter profile that indexes the support hand consistently.

M-LOK slots along the sides and bottom accept lights, sling mounts and hand stops directly, without rail sections. Finished in OD green, it is an easy way to modernize a carbine on a budget while keeping the build simple.
