The Magpul MIAD is the modular answer to the fact that no two hands are the same. The grip ships as a core with interchangeable front straps and backstraps, so you can tune palm swell and trigger reach until the AR actually fits you — which changes trigger control more than most shooters expect. Type 2 fits AR-15/M16-pattern lowers.

Beyond the fit, it's a Magpul polymer part, meaning it takes abuse without complaint, and the hollow core accepts optional storage cores for a bolt/firing pin kit, batteries, or a CR123 cell. This one is Flat Dark Earth, which pairs cleanly with FDE and OD furniture or gives a black rifle some contrast. Installation is a single screw and a few minutes.
