The Mossberg 940 Pro Sporting is a 12-gauge competition semi-automatic with a 30-inch barrel and black finish, developed with input from Jerry Miculek. Mossberg redesigned the gas system for the 940 specifically to run thousands of rounds between cleanings, which is the difference between a gun that finishes a tournament and one that does not.
