LWRC's REPR MKII is a short-stroke gas piston 7.62 NATO rifle, and this one wears a 16.1-inch spiral fluted barrel in olive drab green. The piston system is the defining feature: combustion gas never enters the receiver, so the bolt carrier stays cooler and cleaner than a direct impingement gun, and the adjustable gas block lets you tune for suppressed shooting or heavy loads. A 16-inch .308 keeps the rifle handy for hog hunting, timber deer and general-purpose work, with ambidextrous controls and a monoforge upper receiver that eliminates the barrel nut.
