The Citadel Mariner from Legacy Sports International is a 20 gauge defensive shotgun built to shrug off the elements, pairing a corrosion-resistant nickel-finished metalwork with black synthetic furniture. The 18.5-inch barrel keeps it maneuverable indoors and aboard a boat — the environment marine-finished shotguns were born for — while the 20 gauge chambering offers softer recoil than a 12 without giving up serious defensive capability. If you need a shotgun that can live in a humid safe, a cabin, or salt air and still run when called upon, the Mariner is purpose-built for the job.
