An optic mounting plate from Kimber that adapts a compatible 1911 slide to the Trijicon RMR footprint, cut for a co-witness height so your iron sights remain usable through the bottom of the optic window. Co-witnessing matters on a defensive pistol: if the dot fails or the lens fogs, you still have a sight picture without changing anything about your presentation. Using the manufacturer's own plate keeps the interface tight, which is the usual failure point on red dot pistols — loose plates shed zero and eventually shear screws. Factory hardware included.
