The Crickett is the rifle a remarkable number of American shooters learned on. Keystone Sporting Arms built it as a genuine youth trainer rather than a scaled-down adult gun: a single-shot bolt action that must be manually cocked before each shot, so a young shooter and the adult beside them can see the rifle's condition at a glance.

This one is chambered in .22 LR with a 16.12-inch stainless barrel and a walnut stock, weighing under four pounds. Light enough for a small shooter to hold steady, simple enough to teach with, and accurate enough to keep it interesting.
