The Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett has taught more young shooters their first fundamentals than perhaps any rifle of its generation. This .22 LR package wears Serenity camouflage and includes a case, with a 16.25-inch blued barrel sized for small frames. The single-shot bolt action requires deliberate manual cocking for each shot — a design educators and parents value because it enforces pace and safety while a new shooter learns. Simple, sized right, and nearly indestructible, the Crickett remains the standard first rifle.
