The Heritage Rough Rider Rancher Carbine takes the familiar Rough Rider single-action revolver and mounts it in a carbine configuration with a 16.12-inch barrel, chambered in .22 LR, with a US flag treatment and an included leather sling. It is a genuinely charming design, borrowing from the old revolving carbines of the 1800s.

What makes it work is practical, not just nostalgic: the added barrel length wrings noticeably more velocity out of .22 LR and the sight radius and shoulder-fired stability make it far easier to shoot accurately than any handgun. Enormous fun on a plinking afternoon.
