Fierce Firearms builds rifles in Utah with a focus on lightweight long-range hunting, and the Mountain Reaper is aimed at hunters who cover hard country on foot. This one pairs a short 18-inch threaded barrel with a gray finish in .308 Winchester — a compact, suppressor-ready build that gives up little practical performance at hunting distances while shedding length and weight where it matters most. The .308 remains a fantastically versatile cartridge, capable on everything from whitetail to elk with modern bullets, and it loses less velocity in a short barrel than most magnums do.
