This is a factory FN barrel assembly for the SCAR 16S in .223/5.56, in a 10-inch length.

Dropping to a 10-inch barrel turns a standard SCAR 16S into a very compact package, and it is a popular configuration for suppressed use and short-barreled rifle builds. Because it is an FN factory assembly, headspacing and gas system tuning are correct out of the box rather than something to sort out afterward. Note that barrel length changes may carry legal implications depending on your configuration.
