A factory FN magazine for the FN 509 Compact in 9mm, holding 10 rounds in a flush-fit body sized for the Compact's shorter grip. Factory magazines are the least glamorous and most important accessory a striker-fired pistol owns; feed lip geometry, spring rate and follower design are what actually determine whether a carry gun runs, and aftermarket substitutes are a common source of stoppages.

The 509 series earned its reputation through FN's US Army Modular Handgun System submission and heavy law-enforcement adoption, and the Compact is the everyday-carry member of that family. Black finish, standard baseplate, ten-round capacity for restricted-capacity jurisdictions or concealed carry.
