Franklin Armory's BFSIII is the trigger that put binary firing systems on the map: in its third selector position, the trigger fires once on the pull and once on the release, then returns to standard semi-automatic operation in position two. This AK9-C1 variant is fitted to 9mm AK-pattern platforms and uses a curved bow.

Beyond the binary mode, the BFSIII is simply a well-built drop-in trigger with a clean break and short reset, and it can be run entirely in conventional semi-auto. Note that binary triggers are restricted or prohibited in a number of states and localities; buyers are responsible for confirming legality where they live.
