The 5.7 cartridge is fast, flat, and produces remarkably little recoil, and it gets considerably more velocity out of a longer barrel than it does from a handgun, which is exactly what this platform is exploiting. The DBX is built light with aluminum construction and a free-float M-LOK handguard, and the ambidextrous controls suit either hand.
