CVA's Optima has long been the go-to break-action muzzleloader for hunters who want dependable ignition and easy maintenance without a custom price tag. This .50 caliber model uses an 18-inch barrel with a break-open breech that lets you pull the breech plug by hand for cleaning, plus fiber-optic sights and a factory-drilled and tapped rail for mounting a scope. The ambidextrous stock and rubber grip panels keep handling comfortable in cold weather. A practical, accurate choice for muzzleloader deer seasons and extended primitive-weapons hunts.
