CVA built its reputation in muzzleloaders and carried that value-focused engineering into centerfire with the Cascade. This one is chambered in .450 Bushmaster with a 22-inch threaded barrel and an OD Green stock over a black finish. The .450 Bushmaster was designed to give straight-wall-cartridge states a genuinely hard-hitting deer round, throwing a big, heavy bullet that puts whitetails down decisively inside 200 yards. The Cascade's threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor, which is welcome on a cartridge with this much recoil, and the SoftTouch stock and adjustable trigger come standard.
