This CGS Group booster piston is cut for 1/2x36 threads, the standard muzzle pattern on 9mm barrels in the United States, and installs into a compatible CGS booster housing. A booster — sometimes called a Nielsen device — is what allows a recoil-operated pistol to cycle normally with the extra weight of a suppressor hanging off the barrel, and matching the piston thread to your host is the key step in setting one up.

Machined from hardened steel with a black finish, it is a straightforward swap when you add a new pistol to your suppressor rotation.
