Christensen Arms helped popularize carbon fiber wrapped barrels in hunting rifles, and the Ridgeline remains the flagship of that effort. This FFT model in .30-06 Springfield carries a 22-inch carbon-wrapped barrel with a stainless action and a gray composite stock. FFT stands for Flash Forged Technology, a lighter stock construction that trims meaningful ounces without sacrificing stiffness.

The carbon wrap sheds heat and adds rigidity while keeping the rifle genuinely packable. In .30-06, arguably the most versatile American big game cartridge ever loaded, it makes a superb do-everything mountain rifle.
