The Maxus II is Browning's flagship gas autoloader, and it was engineered around one goal: shoot a lot of shells without punishing the shooter or needing constant cleaning. The Power Drive gas system runs a long stroke that reduces bolt speed and spreads recoil out over time, and the Inflex recoil pad directs the remaining energy down and away from the cheek. Chambered for 3.5" 12-gauge shells with a 28" barrel and three extended Invector-Plus chokes, this Earth-finished version is set up for high-volume waterfowl work. The Speed Load Plus system feeds the first shell straight to the chamber.
