This 4-20x50 configuration of Bushnell's R7 leans toward distance work, with a top end that lets you pick apart small targets and read wind at range while still offering usable magnification up close. The first focal plane reticle is the feature that matters most for this kind of shooting — the reticle scales with magnification, so the MOA holdover and ranging marks remain valid at every power setting rather than only at maximum zoom. Illumination keeps the center reference visible against dark backgrounds and in low light. A well-matched optic for a long-range hunting or precision rifle.
