Bergara built its name on exceptionally accurate barrels, and the Crest Carbon puts one in a genuinely lightweight mountain rifle. This model is chambered in .22 Creedmoor — a fast, flat-shooting cartridge beloved by predator hunters and long-range varminters — with a 20-inch carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel wearing an Omni muzzle brake to tame what little recoil there is. The gray carbon-fiber stock keeps overall weight down for all-day carry. If your hunting mixes coyotes, steel, and long walks, this combination of Bergara accuracy and speed is hard to beat.
