The Barrett Model 99 is the single-shot, bolt-action .50 BMG that turned an enormous cartridge into a genuinely accurate long-range rifle. Where Barrett's semi-autos trade some precision for rate of fire, the M99's rigid single-shot receiver and free-floated 32-inch barrel are built purely for hitting things very far away.
