The THOR 6 Mini takes ATN's current-generation thermal platform and packages it in a smaller, lighter housing - a meaningful difference when the optic is riding on a rifle you carry all night. It uses a 384x288 thermal sensor with a 3.5-28x magnification range, which pushes the top end further than the standard THOR 6 while keeping enough field of view at the bottom to sweep a treeline. Thermal detects heat rather than amplifying light, so it works in complete darkness, through smoke and light cover, and in daylight - which is why it has taken over predator and hog hunting. Onboard HD recording, a ballistic calculator, and rangefinding features are included.
