The ATN THOR series brought thermal imaging within reach of ordinary hunters, and the THOR 6 Mini is the compact, lighter-weight entry in that generation. This one uses a 256x192 sensor with a 3.5-28x magnification range, which is a practical setup for hog hunting and predator control at the ranges most of that shooting actually happens.

Thermal has a decisive advantage over night vision for finding animals: it detects heat rather than amplifying light, so it works in total darkness and cuts through light brush. HD video recording and the usual ATN suite of ballistic tools and one-shot zero are on board.
